its 3minutes into the game. crazy teammate has died 5 times.

if 4 of the team agree to call “gg” the game should just end.

professional teams get to do it.

save us players time.

and why is alt-tabbing when waiting at the well considered an abandon if there is no gg/concede button.

i don’t want to sit staring at dumb idiots for 20mins waiting for them to keep feeding and dieing.

i want to move on to the next game.

pro teams get to call gg.

i believe we should be able to call gg too.

and give us the loss. but stop wasting our time.

you fucking valve forcing us not to alt-tab.

You don’t ‘call’ gg in pub game, you just do it.

You’ll get your lost, you won’t be wasting time.

And even if your teammates disagree the worst case you’ll get abandon for not getting exp anyway, so no harm there.

Making people’s losses feel worse with just my name (don’t ask me how it work, I certainly don’t)

People who wants surrender: It exists, but I’m not teaching you how to do it.

If you think that if a player has died 5 times in the start and you have no chance to win. There must be something wrong with you !

If your entire team decides it’s GG then you can all disconnect (but don’t click “Leave game.”) from the server – the game ends 30s after a whole team leaves, which is of course before the 5 minute abandon timeout.

It’s ruined the game for other team I think.

If you start a game with your friend and you get 5 GG gamed from the enemy team in a row, that’s bad.

Because everyday I met 3 Hard carry it’s GG, no courier is GG, Mid died 2 times is GG, Support stealing Lasthit is GG and so on.

Ultimately the game is designed to punish the player, in this case Valve wants to punish you by taking your time and enjoyment away. If people were allowed to GG, then people would marry animals instead of other people. Admitting that there is in fact a statistical point of no return would mean Valve is wrong, and frankly that never has ever will never happen.

I’ve played out some games where I definitely wasted an extra 25 minutes of my life for absolutely no enjoyment on my part but I’ve also been able to come back from some brutal stuff as well. Generally pubs are not organized enough that a huge advantage can be sustained in such a way that you cannot come back from it or that the game won’t just end through its own momentum (usually painfully and sometimes slower than necessary due to stalling efforts). If you’re really that desperate for an excruciating game to end just play it out or take your abandon.

I’m all for comebacks and skin of your teeth barely wining matches. Lets be honest. There is a statistical point at which you have zero chance of winning. At that point you should be able to throw in the towel. I’m not sure why Valve chooses to punish the player base this way, or how it educates people, how it makes them better.

the only way i could see this coming close to working is if theres a team vote and it has to be unanimous to concede the game.

the problem will be is if someone says “no i dont want to concede” the other 4 will purposely feed until he does.

So that’s why this will never be implemented.
